IRH/P draws its inspiration from the groundwork laid by the Responsible Parenthood Council (RPC), founded in 1970, by the triumvirate visionaries led by Horacio ‘Boy’ Morales, Ding Navarro, Teddy Rey, now all deceased, with a select group of then young student leaders. With the dynamic foresight of Dr. Vicente Rosales of the Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction- University of Sto. Tomas, and Fr. Vicente San Juan, S.J., RPC implemented their vision of empowered communities through their legacy of a tri-sectoral approach to human development, focusing on natural family planning and community programs.

Healthy and responsible Filipino couples exercising their fertility options and parenting initiatives through the use of modern and effective natural family planning methods, reproductive health education and services made available and accessible nationwide.

Testimonials

We are thankful for this opportunity to be part of the project, the check-ups, napakaganda nitong project.

Our youngest child, a boy, is five years old, the eldest is a girl, turning 8.”

“In planning our family, my husband and I really go natural, avoiding possible effects of artificial contraceptives. Since God designed our bodies, we want to make full use of the knowledge in terms of managing our marital intimacies. Ika nga, ‘nasa Dios and awa, nasa tao ang gawa.”

“My cycles are good and average. Natural for us means no chemicals or any foreign devices for the body, and most of all, NFP is character-building for both of us!”
